I believe so I act!

First if we believe the promises of God in the bible, we should be doing more of praising than asking. We need to ask ourselves whether we actually read the Book enough to accept  the teachings and apply them.  If we believe them we will apply and if we apply we are accepting and believing the instructions of the Book. It does says we prosper by meditating daily on the words we find in it.

I love this scripture in Isaiah 55:
10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater.
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it’.        As the words never return void, it means they will eventually accomplish their purpose. It may not be instantly but will it will definitely come to accomplish it’s purpose in your life in due time.

You can ensure you get more from the word by systematic study and not just reading. There are many bible study systems around that can help with studying the word.  You can also device your own. No matter what,  never end your day without looking in the book or any book relating to your belief even if what you read doesn’t make sense. We are spiritual beings and the Word is spirit and live. Imagin giving your spirit a bath/wash on a daily basis, that is how what helps me to read the word daily. I need to shower daily otherwise I don’t feel right. The same way your spirit man need a daily shower in order to receive from the spirit world.

The reading of the manufacturer’s manual enables me to praise Him more because it says ‘He dwells in the praise of his people  (Psalm 22:3)’.  If the almighty God indwells my praise, then I need to be praising him more in order to get to His heart. As parents, if our children praise us often we would do more for them, it’s natural. No one gets motivaed by grumbling people. Positivity drives the world forward while negativity brings  a lot of destruction and stagnancy.

As you believe the word you will  begin to act more positively and see more results. If the Word says fear not, be courageous, believe it and know that you may have to face a challenge that will require you to be fearless. Believe that the Creator is giving you the ability to be fearless. Read stories of people who overcame fear. We all know about the story of Daniel, who refused to compromise and was placed in lion’s den. He survived because he was protected. You too can be protected if you believe.

Stay focused, keep believing, take those small and giant leaps of faith and all will turn out well.

  1. Hi,
Very inspirational post that you have on the page that I saw taken from the book of Isiah. Indeed what you state in the opening phrase in which we as human beings so show more praise towards our God, (and other human beings as well) instead of always asking for something is 100% true.

The problem is around this Earth too many people are selfish within their own beings. They also do not show compassion towards others as well as forgiveness as after all NO ONE is perfect.

Basically we all need to praise our God much more than we do. Where would we be without Him? Of course the other issue is that too many people believe in false Gods but that’s another story for another day.

Such an excellent post that you shared with others and I also love your website!

    • Hi Jeff

Thank you so much for your comment and especially your comment regarding where would we be without Him.

We need to show more gratitude.

  2. I am very impress by this site that talks about God and his word, I think that God should be first in our lives follow by everything else. I love how you talk about money. We should not serve money but money should, serve us. We should always keep money in its proper place. Creator God is good is worthy of the praises humanity. I believe that your viewers will love this site, and they will learn a whole lot.

  3. The Bible is full of so many powerful words and principles. I’ve read a few of your posts before and they are always well written and inspiring.

You are right, if we truly believe what the Bible says, then we would act. To not act and trust has to mean we don’t fully believe.
