Money is something no can do without even if you don't directly have any dealings with it. One might say 'I don't have to work'. The things you use on a daily basis have had one exchange of money one way or the other. No one can completely plead ignorant of the subject. The question is how many people can truly say they understand the subject?
Is money evil? No, it is the love of money that is evil. Philanthropy is an industry where people enjoy giving for various reasons. I also believe it is the reason the bible talks a lot about money and resources more than all all major topics like healing, prayer etc. I would love to look at some of these scriptures in more detail in future.
Part of my mission in life is teaching people financial literacy. All businesses have to keep records, whether for themselves or their shareholders. In the world this is no problem. It is also evident that failure to keep accurate records is a major factor resulting in closures. Individuals also have the responsibilities of ensuring they understand the inflow and outflow of finances, ability to keep budgets, abilities to ensure debts are properly managed and I say that because some debts are unavoidable. An example is mortgage.

A restaurant run in the centre of town with good patronage is in financial trouble. Rubi has been hired as a manager, 'the restaurant is making 2000 per night' she said and she is responsible for managing the books of the business. 'I've been sent here to learn' she said during an icebreaker in class, no knowledge'. The business is in trouble but has employed a novice to manage it's books. How sad! Not for Rubi but for the health of the business.
The acquisition of money is great but we also need to learn how to manage it. Managing does not only involve keeping as much as possible, we also need to learn other principles though not sometimes obvious but can help the increase and flow of money. According to the Maker's manual: Withholding more than necessary leads to scarcity, but the person who gives freely increases, Proverbs 11:24. We need a right relationship with money.
It is also important to look at other parts of the Creator's manual and especially some misquoted texts like money is the root of all evil. It is the love of money and not the money itself. Functional application of money is important in all spheres of life and regardless our beliefs. A balanced approach to the subject is more important than all the arguments the subject has generated and I hope the various posts will help many to understand this subject better.
Money is used by everyone and it's importance is highlighted by the fact the Creator mentioned it's use, acquisition and disposal more than any other subject in the Bible. It is noted that 16 out of 38 parables dealt with money and possessions. I would be looking at some of these verses and portions of the bible critically over time.
Come on a journey with me.
First check my post on the power to get wealth here.
Very true Kavinah. There’s no denial that we need money to survive the world of materialistic. However, it is important to acquire knowledge so as not to be the slave of money. ” You look after the money/wealth, knowledge looks after you.”
Thanks for your article. 🙂

Thank you for taking time to read this post. I like your quote, very true.
Hi! Kavinah,
Thanks for checking out my site. Your site is very impressive. I love that you are pleasing God by putting all these anointed scriptures for people on the go. Only what we do for God will last. Money is good but if we are not smart and worship the money then we are in for a big surprise. God does not want us to put anything before Him.
Keep up the good work
Luna
